- Session type (work, Yin break, Real break)

- Order/priority
Schedules
- Generated daily schedules
- Schedule items and their order
- Execution progress
Statistics
- Total work minutes
- Number of sessions completed
- Daily statistics

App Settings
- Timer display preferences (time vs. percentage)
- Default break duration
- Distraction-free mode setting
- Other user preferences

Information We Do NOT Collect

App Experience
- Remembering your settings and preferences
- Restoring app state when you reopen the app
- Showing your session history
Local Notifications
- Sending you alerts when timers complete (if you grant permission)
- Displaying Live Activities on your lock screen (iOS 16.1+)
- Showing timer progress in Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro+)

Important: All of this data processing happens entirely on your device. No data is sent to external servers.

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage Only

All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s secure iOS frameworks
Data is protected by your device’s passcode and encryption
We do not have access to your data
We do not transmit your data over the internet
We do not store your data on any servers

iCloud Sync

Current Version: Fibonacci Focus does NOT sync data to iCloud or any cloud service. Your data stays only on your device.

Future Updates: If we add iCloud sync in the future, we will:

Update this privacy policy
Ask for your explicit permission
Use Apple’s secure iCloud infrastructure
Allow you to opt-out at any time

We do not share your data with anyone. Period.

Permissions and Access

Notifications

Fibonacci Focus requests permission to send you notifications so we can alert you when your work sessions and breaks are complete.

What we do: Send local notifications when timers end
What we don’t do: Track notification interactions, send marketing messages, or share notification data

You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Fibonacci Focus.

Background App Refresh

The app may use Background App Refresh to maintain timer accuracy and update Live Activities.

What we do: Keep timers running accurately in the background
What we don’t do: Collect location, track activity, or send data to servers

You can disable this in iOS Settings → General → Background App Refresh → Fibonacci Focus.

Children’s Privacy

Fibonacci Focus is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Since all data stays on the device and we don’t collect personal information, parents can feel confident allowing children to use the app.

Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

Delete Your Data

To delete all data stored by Fibonacci Focus:

Option 1: Delete within the app

Tasks: Swipe left on any task and tap Delete
Statistics: Use “Reset Stats” in Settings (if available)

Option 2: Delete the app

Delete the Fibonacci Focus app from your device
This permanently removes all data associated with the app

Export Your Data

Currently, Fibonacci Focus does not provide a data export feature. All your data is stored in standard iOS formats on your device and is deleted when you delete the app.

Opt-Out of Notifications

You can disable notifications at any time:

iOS Settings → Notifications → Fibonacci Focus → Toggle off

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements.

When we make changes:

We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top
Significant changes will be announced in the app or App Store update notes
Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy
